Boilerplate
Trophex is surplus-food recovery infrastructure — the routing and proof layer for the last window. It is being built to route time-sensitive surplus food (short shelf life, near the edge of its window, no pickup scheduled, no discount buyer lined up) to the fastest viable recipient, and to create a timestamped, exportable recovery record for each pickup. Existing tools do vital work; Trophex is designed as the layer underneath. The platform is designed so businesses can recover value from unsold stock through discounted, source-direct pickups; when good food can't move in time, TrophexCare is designed to open another path — to a neighbour in need — with reviewed access provided by the Kids of the Future Foundation, an independent registered charity. Every pickup is designed to create a TrueReport record of what was recovered, where it went, and what value was preserved — an aid to a business's own reporting, not compliance or certification. Founded in Toronto by Maria Sargsyan. Good food, a right ending.
“Good food rarely goes to waste because anyone stopped caring — it just runs out of time. Trophex is a narrow bridge across that last gap: helping good food find a route while it's still good, and keeping a record of where it went. The care and the record, in one step.”
